Born and raised in Minnesota, Tyler Peters has proudly called Minneapolis home since 2013. A Gustavus Adolphus College alum (go Gusties!) with deep roots in the Twin Cities, Tyler is passionate about helping others plant roots here too—especially those in the salon and spa industry. With over 12 years of experience in mortgage lending and more than 1,300 happy homeowners served, Tyler specializes in guiding first-time homebuyers and self-employed borrowers through the loan process with clarity and confidence. He understands the unique financial situations that salon and spa professionals often face, especially when it comes to navigating tax write-offs and non-traditional income. His creative approach to lending ensures that your hard work translates into homeownership. Tyler’s journey into this niche began organically—several of his trusted real estate partners came from the salon and spa world and continue to refer industry clients his way. He’s known for being highly responsive, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in his clients’ success. Tyler and his husband, Andrew, purchased their first home together in 2017 and now live in the Hale neighborhood near Lake Nokomis with their two spoiled Chihuahuas, Bentley and Piper. When he’s not helping clients achieve their homeownership dreams, you’ll find him exploring Minneapolis’s vibrant food scene, traveling, dancing at music festivals, or spending time with friends and family.
