THE ART OF SUGARING

4-Hour Professional Practice CE Course

About the Class
This hands-on sugaring class will teach you various sugaring techniques for facial, arms and leg hair removal. Learn the difference between sugaring and wax, which products are best to use before and after sugaring and what to retail to your customers. You will learn how to do a professional consultation and ongoing client management to keep your clients returning for your service. Sugaring contraindications and the Informed Release Form will also be covered.

Please come to the class with 2-3 weeks of hair growth.  The first hour will cover theory and sugar basics.  After theory, the hands on sugar technique will be introduced and practiced for the remainder of the class.  

About the Instructor

Courtney Leddy
As a registered nurse for 15 years Courtney knows how important it is for her patients to feel good about themselves.  She understands looking better helps us feel better and that’s what led her to cosmetology school.  After graduation in 2006 she introduced sugaring into the full-service salon in which she worked.  She and her clients loved this natural method of hair removal. Courtney has a passion for sugaring and loves showing what this amazing product and technique can do.

*Beginning August 1, 2017, 4 hours of Professional Practice Continuing Education will be required for all active operators and salon managers to renew their licenses.  In addition to the 4-hour Core class, you will now need 4 hours of practical education in your field of expertise.
