Educator Opportunities

Core - Health, Safety, Infection Control, Laws & Rules for Relicensure Trainer

Opportunities available for individuals who hold a full cosmetology license to be a Health, Safety, Sanitation, Laws & Rules trainer for SSPA.  This a a part-time paid independent contractor opportunity.  Teaching will be either as an individual or as a team. Opportunities are available immediately.  The following qualifications are a must:

  • Licensed at least three (3) years as a full cosmetologist.
  • Hold an instructor license or have had educator experience.
  • Must be available to teach on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday during the day and evenings.
  • Willing to travel throughout Minnesota.
  • Individual must be located within the seven county Metro area.
  • Be a member of SSPA and/or willing to join.

Professional Practice Continuing Education Educator

Opportunities available for individuals who are licensed as a cosmetologist, esthetician or nail technician to be a part of SSPA's Professional Practice Education team.  This a a part-time paid independent contractor opportunity.  Topics will include cosmetology, esthetics and nails techniques and business.  Teaching will be either as an individual or as a team. We are in the process of putting our team together to start in 2018.  The following qualifications are a must:

  • Licensed at least three (3) years as a cosmetologist, esthetician or nail technician in the State of Minnesota.
  • Hold an instructor license or have had educator experience.
  • Must be available to teach on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday.
  • Willing to travel to Greater Minnesota and or to the Metro area.
  • Be a member of SSPA and/or willing to join.
