This seven hour session is specifically designed for cosmetology instructors to learn the teaching skills they need to succeed in the classroom.

Verifying Learner Achievement—This Pivot Point program is a reminder that ongoing communication about where students stand in their learning progress helps them take responsibility for their own learning.  This ability, known as "self-directed learning," is one that will help students succeed throughout their careers.  By highlighting the link between assessment and learning, this module helps build relationships with learners that motivate and inspire them to reach their full potential.  Jason Russell is a field educator for Pivot Point. He has more than 10 years of professional experience to draw on as well as his strong educational foundation of Pivot Point cosmetology and teacher training. Jason has also earned an applied science degree in Salon Management.

 Instructors will receive 7 hours of teaching method CE credits.
