Accelerate Your Teaching Skill Fall 2016 - A Cosmetology Instructor Day Seminar Making the Student Salon An Adventure PLUS Cosmetology Rules Update Saturday, November 5, 2016 This 4 hour session is specifically designed for cosmetology, esthetics and nail technology instructors to expand and improve the teaching skills needed for a more productive experience in the classroom. Making the Student Salon an Adventure - This 4-hour program will prepare educators to meet the needs of the industry through the success of their graduates. Participants will learn to assist students in developing a solid client base using referrals, re-booking, ticket upgrading and so much more. The importance of teaching learners how to develop success habits while in school will be reviewed in detail.
Ida McLean is a licensed cosmetologist and cosmetology instructor. She has been in the industry for over two decades and during that time has held positions ranging from stylist in a salon to Director of Education for an established school with multiple campuses. She has fulfilled each task encountered with energy, enthusiasm and dedication. Her wide range of knowledge helps her to be a well-rounded educator. Instructors will receive 4 hours of teaching method CE credits. Following the Instructor Seminar and the Student Connection Conference there will be a two (2) hour Cosmetology Rules Update class - 6pm-8pm - this is included in your registration.
